There is a company that is attracting attention as it promotes the Korean Wave in a more convenient way to foreign tourists visiting Korea.
Red Table, a tourism venture company pioneering the tourism OTA field based on big data and marketing platforms, has developed the ‘Korea Travel Card’ and supports tourists’ activities in a one-stop manner from arrival to departure.
Using this card, tourists can use everything from transportation to food, experiences, and shopping all at once.
In particular, they help travelers make restaurant reservations, orders, and payments just as they book flights and accommodations through Skyscanner and Agoda when traveling.
Korea Travel Card holds a large amount of restaurant data.
They provide users with a wide range of choices and information through data on about 900,000 domestic restaurants and take the lead in promoting various K-foods to the world.
They have partnered with Google and are also acting as an agent for Google's restaurant reservation service, which means that they have been recognized for their reliability and ability.
They recently formed a strategic partnership with Ethan & Elice Marketing and took charge of operating and promoting the Smart Tourism City integrated platform.
Smart Tourism City is a project to strengthen the competitiveness of local tourism and is a program that combines digital technology and tourism elements to organically combine and develop local tourist attractions so that anyone can conveniently use tourism services.
In addition, it was selected for the ‘2023 Tourism Global Challenge Y&Bridge’ hosted by global accelerator Y&Archer, spurring investment attraction and overseas expansion.
Red Table plans to provide more enriched and special ways to travel in Korea by updating the ‘Korea Travel Card’ in the future.
CEO Do Hae-yong said, “We are doing our best to put the restaurant on a bigger stage and provide delicious food and special experiences.”
“We plan to continue supporting users’ convenient experiences in the future.”
